Sustainable Events

Here at the Food Truck Collective we love and care about the environment! So we are doing our bit to make sure that all our events are as sustainable as possible. ✨

We do this by solely working with vendors who only use compostable packaging or welcome BYO containers to ensure that we are limiting as much landfill waste as possible.

To guarantee this is effective, we work with Clean Events who provide us with three types of bins to make sure that waste is disposed of correctly and their team even sorts through the waste after each event to check by using compostable bins at our events, it reduces the amount of waste being sent to landfills, and also cuts greenhouse gas emissions.

In the year 2019/20 we diverted the equivalent amount of weight in waste as the Endeavour Space Ship! Plus, Co-Founder Maggie even collects all the Karma drink lids to recycle to avoid them going to the landfill.

So next time you are at one of our events keep your eyes out for bins and make sure to pop all your food packaging in the green bins on the night. ♻️
