Meet the Vendor - Eat Adlib

Meet James and Alicia-Kate from Eat Adlib! 🍞

As half-caste Aucklanders with Niuean, Maori, Scottish, Welsh and English roots, they epitomise the cultural melting pot that is Aotearoa.

⭐️ Why did you start a food truck?

With over 20 years in the hospo industry, we felt it was time to run something of our own. A food truck was the perfect option, allowing flexibility for our busy family life.

⭐️ What was your biggest challenge?

Developing a clear business model and strategy ... still a work in progress 😊

⭐️ What advice would you give to your younger self?

Keep dreaming big and have faith in yourself! And it's ok to adapt as you go - our rebrand is a great example of that!

⭐️ What are your plans for the future?

Continuing to showcase our kiwi version of a cultural favourite - Fry Bread, whilst maintaining our all important work life balance
