Meet one of our newest members Mandy from The Roaming Berry! 🙌

The Roaming Berry Real Fruit Ice Cream truck serving up delicious creamy real fruit ice cream. Choose from a creamy vanilla ice cream or decadent coconut ice cream base. Blended with your choice of fruit or berries from our current selection.

⭐️ Why did you start a food truck?
I was made redundant early into the first lockdown and I was missing connecting with people and just generally getting out and about. We came across an ice cream truck for sale down in Christchurch and joked that it would be a bit of fun. However the idea of this kept coming back up and a couple of weeks later I was flying to Christchurch with my daughter for the best road trip back to Auckland.

⭐️ What was your biggest challenge?
There haven't been any huge challenges, getting my food certificate was a learning curve as I don't have a hospitality/food background.

⭐️ What advice would you give to your younger self?
Get to know the market and who else is out there.

⭐️ What are your plans for the future?
I have a couple ideas to increase our menu offering... watch this space lol
