Meet the Vendor - Some Kind of Wonderful

Meet one of our newest members Cyril & Rachelle from Some Kind of Wonderful! 🙌

Some Kind of Wonderful is an events company centered around our stunning mobile caravan bar, Olive. We offer bar hire, and drinks service across the Kaipara, Rodney, Auckland, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty regions.

⭐️ Why did you start a food truck?

Rachelle was looking for a hobby to keep her busy during the 2nd covid lockdown in 2020 and we definitely found that! We also realised at our own wedding how important it is to have a skilled professional bar service and we want to bring that experience to others

⭐️ What was your biggest challenge?

We didn't realise that standing up for a 12 hours at a time was so exhausting but we are used to it now :)

⭐️ What advice would you give to your younger self?

Wear sensible shoes! And you’re never too old to try something new. We love meeting new people, having yarns and making sure that people are able to relax and have the best time - what an awesome job!

⭐️ What are your plans for the future?

We would love to expand our business, and incorporate our love of travel so let's see where that leads us
