Meet Chris & Jessica from GRUB!  🙌

Grub is an all British Food Truck taking the classic Yorkshire Pudding and turning into a wrap. The Yorkshire Pudding Wraps are filled with a full Sunday roast including succulent roast meats, crispy roast potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, veggies and all the gravy you could desire. Delicious nostalgic British Grub.

⭐️ Why did you start a food truck?

I started the food truck Grub because I missed British food from the UK living in New Zealand. I miss the nostalgia I get from all the tasty meals I've eaten over the years at my grandparents houses and my mums awesome cooking. I love the taste of wholesome, home cooked dishes. I've taken something traditional with the Yorkshire pudding and turned into something unique in the Yorkshire Pudding roast wrap. I spent many Sundays’s passed out on my grandma's sofa after a full roast and a homemade apple crumble for dessert.

⭐️ What was your biggest challenge?

Sometimes the hardest thing is just getting started and backing yourself. You can say you’re going to do something, but backing yourself to follow through is the biggest challenge. I'm so glad I took the leap though as I'm my own boss and love what I do. I get so much satisfaction from people enjoying my food.

⭐️ What advice would you give to your younger self?
To not become frustrated if things don’t go your way straight away. Think of the long term gains rather than the short term. If you want to make things work you can, through hard work and determination. It's not easy running your own business.

⭐️ What are your plans for the future?

To go with the flow and continue doing things we think are cool.
